Well, what a week it's been. Started with moving a friend. Then we had our building under construction getting broke into and attended a job fair as an interviewer instead of interviewee. (That is still taking some getting used to.) Went swimming with my family and worked on assembling our LPFM equipment and wiring some of the 'easy' stuff a dufus like me can do. It finished with a day together as family, running some errands and then playing with my girls right after supper until bedtime. Still gotta process through some of it and then mentally catagorize the week overall, then remember the good and discard the bad! :)
The sheetrock finisher should be done by this weekend and Sunday afternoon the painter is gonna come in and throw a coat of primer inside the place. That means Sat night I've gotta go down and clean the floor completely. The sheetrock finisher is gonna get up the big goops his mud left, but I've gotta sweep, vaccum, then mop the entire thing because we want the tile and carpet to stay put for a very long, LONG time! (Doreen and my in-laws should be there to help as well - so that's a good thing!
Sunday morning, move #2 of the staff of LifeTalk is happen'. Our Chief Operating Officer has sold and closed on his Vonore home and bought and closed on a Collegedale home. So this weekend is "M" day. Gotta move outta one and into the other! :) Hopin' to have a bit of time to watch the Daytona 500, but I figure I'll be time shiftin' it, watching it after it happens!
Monday morning, bright and early we Move LifeTalk - FINALLY. We were in the new office this afternoon and carpet was going down fast and furiously - so things should be wrapped up pretty soon and we should be completely functioning out of Collegedale - Lord-willing - by the first of March!!!
I'll do my best to keep the updates flowing. Not spent much time on a computer this week. Too busy doing 'other' stuff! :)
Loved this image to wrap our day. As we turned on our road, in the distance I could see a 'cowboy' on a horse just sauntering down the road. The horse was tan with a pitch black tail, flipping back in forth in the wind. The cowboy had on all denim and when a van whipped by, the horse acted a bit skittish - but he expertly handled it - one handed, because in his other hand, he had his cell phone out and was in the middle of a conversation.
He, he, he! Loved that picture!
Have a blessed weekend all!!!
