Weekends are usually always a great time around here. It's awesome family time. It's good to have a moment to relax and it's nice not to have to spend at least one day thinking about work.
My daughters are SO incredibly precious. This morning at breakfast - Joelle wanted to sit right beside me - so she did and sometimes between bites she'd snuggle up to me. That was precious. Then this afternoon at the park - she wanted to walk on the rail so she could walk beside me with her arm tucked in mine - like she's seen on the "Princess Movie." Can I hear an "Aaaawwwwww."
Also while at the park - we fed the ducks. Now I'm not sure who ended up eating more, the girls or the ducks. He, he, he! A couple of times a duck would grab the whole slice of bread out of the girls hands. Funny! :)
So we started walking around the park and Natalie had one last slice of bread and was eating it as we walked. Just about the time she popped the last little piece in her mouth a duck came swimming up to the shore, jumped out of the water and started waddling towards Natalie. So I said, "The duck is wanting his bread - where is it? Did you eat it all - he's gonna come get you since you ate it." She started running and looking back over her shoulder saying, "Duck - bread all gone. Duck - bread all gone." Waaaaa ha, ha, ha, ha! It was the cutiest/funniest thing I've seen in quite a while. She wasn't scared and knew I was joking because LONG after the duck was far behind us she kept jogging to catch up to Mommy and the rest of the group that was with us.
How precious!
Ok - so the Superbowl is tomorrow evening. We've got some friends coming over for a Superbowl party to enjoy the game, a good time of fellowship (And the ads). So let's post some votes up here - who do you think's gonna win.
You aren't going to win anything - but it's fun 'placing' a bet!
My vote - the Eagles! Go Philly!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend - and the Superbowl!!!
