What a NEAT holiday.
It's really very simple and just a blessing!
We basically celebrated Thanksgiving last week with Doreen's sister and family here from Minnesota. So I'm at work today and this afternoon we've gotta clean the church for Sabbath.
We can still be thankful though! ;)
Cute Joelle story that emphasizes Thanksgiving.
Yesterday, my in-laws volunteered to watch the girls while we did our grocery shopping. (We pretty much figured Wal-mart was going to be a mad-house, and it was!)
Sandra told us that Joelle brought a picture over that had everyone in it, the Ottos, Pesters, Great-grandparents etc. She went through and named EVERYONE, then put the picture back. Joelle then went to stand next to Sandra again and then announced, "The perfect family."
That is so special - that is the true spirit of Thanksgiving.
I'd have to agree with her -- we've got the perfect family!
