Southern Adventist University's Sonrise service is a blessing to walk through and lots of fun being a participant!
Thing is, all four of us are plum tuckered out!!! The weather was overcast and kinda windy resulting in a chilly day! It wasn't bad when we actually started our part of the event.
We were Jerusalem Travelers. The first scene is inside the Collegedale SDA church and then people head out the back door and through the field with all sorts of cool animals (Camels, chickens, a donkey, some goats a 3 day old zebra, a 6 month old lama, a rabbit a puppy and a cat) to Jerusalem. We're to kinda keep people moving and entertain/distract them until the previous group is far enough ahead they can open the gates.
Natalie went around with one of the college ladies moving people along have a fun part and Joelle stood down by the animals shouting, "Jesus is coming to Jerusalem." It was extremely precious!!
Joelle obviously spent extraordinary amounts of time in the field petting all the animals and loving it!
Doreen and I did various things, mostly harassing the guards and getting arrested!
After we repeated our part a number of times we actually went with a group all the way through the resurrection.
Awesome - MOST awesome!!!
