Progress

Well, Pop's been off the vent breathing on his own since 5ish this morning. He's been doing great and looking good.

The Dr's made their rounds this morning and decided he's doing good enough to pull the tube out completely.

So they've taken him off his feeding tube and pulled everything out of his stomach so there is no chance of any regurgitation causing problems post tube extraction.

After a couple hours they'll come in and pull the tube and that's a good thing, the thing for which we've been waiting.

This is encouraging! I like these little steps forward. And even the big steps!!!
