Sitting up with the Living

So Pop and I are sitting up just chillin! Greg & Herb came by for a visit and we enjoyed chatting. Pop has snoozed a bit then woke up and joined the fun.

He had lunch and the nurses have been in and out, then the Occupational Therapist came in and started him on his exercises - getting him up and around.

This morning after sitting for about 25 min he started to slouch and not feel so good - so we put him back in the bed.

The Physical therapist came in right after that and he wasn't too nice to the suggestion of some exercises! :)

After lunch though, the OT came and he got up did a few strength testing things, then he walked around the bed and to the chair. He's been sitting up and looking and obviously feeling quite strong.

I am HAPPY 'bout that!

So I'm sitting up with the living and really happy to be! (I know that's an improper sentence, but Whoopeeee!!!!)
