This week at our church is VBS. The theme is "A Royal Adventure, the King of King's Castles and Crowns." It has been really good! It teaches the kids about the character of God through stories of Kings and Queens of the Bible.The girls have really enjoyed it. Because of my schedule I've only been able to attend two meetings, help setup and teardown - but it has worked out perfectly!
Every night they draw two names and the children get a gift bag. Well the first night, the first child's name chosen was Joelle and the second in a Twilight Zone type moment was Natalie's. Coolness!
In these bags were a number of little things including a foam sword and shield. They've been on crusades all through the house fighting evil and each other!
Very precious!
