File 13

A few years ago Doreen and I went through all our files and organized everything. It was great, but you know how things tend to get messy over time - well that's what happened. We'd get things out of order or in the wrong file and then our files were just building up they were so very thick it was hard getting them in or out - so yesterday and today we went through it all and cleaned up! Big-time.

This pile ended up being one of three trashbags of paperwork we have NO need of anymore!

We had credit card statments, electric bills from 2 houses ago, medical eob's and just various and assundry things we've been storing since '98. Time to GO!

We bagged it all up and today went over to my in-laws who have a buring barrel and we reduced 3 bags of old paperwork into a small pile of ashes in a couple of hours!


We lit it off and added and added and added and I did some stirring to make sure it all burned and burned good! Man it was SO nice to get rid of all that junk. It was a really cold day, perfect for a nice rip-roaring fire!

Now if we can just get everything on e-mail or electronically to save on an external hardrive to save paper, space and postage! :)
