Lately, the girls have really been wanting at least one good snow. We've been getting teased with a slight flurry now and then, but nothing sticking at all. Well, Monday we got about a quarter inch that stuck. Boy the girls went nuts. They were outside slogging through it trying to make snowballs and snow men and catch it on their tongues. They had a ball - so we had to document a bit of their fun on photographs!
Right after I snapped this photo, I got hit in the chest by that snowball in Joelle's hand! :)
Joelle worked so hard going ALL over the place trying to get enough snow together to make this cute little snowman. Adding some raisins for eyes, a carrot for a nose, a couple of sticks for arms and a bandanna for a scarf made it very cute and she was so proud of it!
Poor little Natalie got so cold. Maybe cuz she kept eating that white frozen stuff! Still she had a LOT of fun with it!

The other day when I subbed at OAKS, Natalie was one of the few who wanted to go outside even though it was very cold. When she got out there, all she wanted to do was play with the leftover "snow" that was on the benches. She was trying to eat it off of some sticks and I discouraged her from doing so, while laughing internally the whole time!
