Awesome Children's Story

So this Sabbath I heard a Children's story that I LOVED!

Here it is!

The lady stood up front and had this huge bowl. First off, she gave each child a spoon. She asked the children what happened each day of creation. As they told her - she would put a scoop of ice-cream in that bowl. Then she asked them what they loved most about creation. As they answered, "animals, people, Sabbath, etc" she would pile on chocolate syrup, whip cream, nuts, chocolate chips, whip cream and sprinkles.

Oh it looked good - very good!

Then she asked what happened in the Garden of Eden when Adam & Eve ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. The answer, "Sin."

At that point, she poured half a quart of motor oil on in. Then she asked another question about sin, and poured some kitty litter in the bowl.

The audience gasps.

Then she told us that Jesus was willing to take this sin on us - he was willing to eat that icecream bowl, sin and all to save us.

Then she told the kids, everytime they see a spoon, to think about that Sin Sundae and remember what Jesus did for us.

Made an impression on me!!! :)
