We took a 3 day camp trip to The Voyagers National Park in Northern Minnesota, right on the border of Minnesota and Canada.
Of course on the way up we had tire problems. A tire actually blew on the boat-trailer in the middle of the 3 1/2 hour trip.
We finally made it to Crane Lake. The campsites here can only be reached by boat - no roads past a certain point up here!
Unloaded the boat, then loaded all the stuff into the boat, packed the people in and headed to find a campsite.
We saw some BEAUTIFUL sites while boating in and around the lakes.
Found an empty campsite, set up camp for 3 days.
As always, camp food is the BEST.
Of course we had to store our food and trash in Bear Lockers overnight and when we were away from camp.
The Open-Air potty. We all tried to avoid it as much as possible, but of course it was well used.
We spent a lot of time exploring and boating around this beautiful area! Awesome!

Thanks for the pics and the commentary. Makes it seem like we were there (we almost were!). What a beautiful group of people (we're not prejudice).
G-Pa O.
Glad to see that you had such a good time. Nat driving the boat? you were brave. I had forgoten that you would be up north this week and so when the bridge went down I was a little concerned. Glad you had a good time.
