For Valentines day, the girls school held a Teddy-Bear Tea Party for all the students in grades K-2nd. (I'm guessin' the older kids have kinda outgrown that kinda thing.)Many parents helped with lots of aspects of the event.
Here's Natalie with Goldilocks getting her recoginition for the 'most cuddly' teddy-bear. It was a tiny little thing! :)
Here's Joelle with Goldi, getting her recognition, and even wearing some her gold locks, for the most "Tennessee Titan Teddy."A delicious meal was had, and they heard some stories and a song and then did a great big Teddy-Bear March around the inside of the school and all around the outside. (To give the workers a chance to 'reset' the rooms for the other activities.)
They got to play Teddy-Bear beanbag toss, and Musical Bears and do a Teddy-bear craft.
They even recruited Natalie to play a part in a little skit about "My Friend Bear." Oh yeah - the bear on her left (the light brown one), yup - that's me! I was her friend bear.It was a really, REALLY fun event!
Can't wait for next year's Teddy-bear Tea Party!
