A Relaxing Day in Colorado!

Today started good. We got up to go golfing at a great little par 3 golf course in Montrose. Joelle and Brian got up early to go with Dad and me. The problem was the course was closed! BUMMER!!!









So we went to a local driving range. Joelle didn't do too bad. Brian did really well! He was wacking 'em great! It was a lot of fun.

After that we ran over to Wal-mart and met up with the rest of the family. Helped to do the rest of the shopping and then headed home.






We put the groceries away and then up to Scott & Staci's to play a little more 'Rock Band.' Joelle had been wanting to give it a try - so with a bit of assistance she did pretty good!









Later on Natalie and Bekah double-teamed the drums. They wore those drums out! :) In between all that the laundry got done, some lawns got mowed and watered, and other things.











We wrapped the day nicely. For starters, my sister made her famous waffles. YUMMY! We added hashbrowns, and scrambled eggs that topped it all off!

After the kids went to bed we watched a movie called the Ultimate Gift. What a great message!
