Arch Stop

For our fourth stop we loaded up and headed into the Arches National Park in Moab, UT.

Once inside we stopped at Balanced Rock.

Most all of us climbed up it and my brother-in-law 'struck a pose.'

Then we drover over to where some actual arches were. This is the North Window. Scott, Staci, Cindi and Doreen were standing in there watching the kids climb around and enjoy the nature.

Later in the afternoon we wanted to walk out to "The Delicate Arch." But everyone didn't feel like making the 3 mile round trip trek - so we went to the North viewing area across the canyon. I snapped this photo through Scott's binoculars. MOST Awesome!

Just outside the park is a single sand-dune. We took some time to visit it and climb it. Wheew, what a climb.

We did make it to the top though. Here's proof! :) Running down was a BLAST! Boy that took me back lots and lots of years! Great memories!

Later that evening we roasted hot dogs and marshmellows. YUMMY!

Then the Lord painted us a wonderful sunset over the mountain to end a perfect day!
