Here's one of the photos I snapped in Telluride yesterday. This is the East end of town.
Their is only one way out of Telluride. Their is techincally two ways in, but only one is accessable by any other vehicle other than a 4X4. Black Bear four wheel drive road is a techinally challenging drive, but beautiful!
The switch-back road you see in the middle of the mountain is the final leg of Black Bear. Most of the time you can't make those turns in one wack, you've gotta take two or three tries to get around it. Kinda scary - but fun! Didn't go across it this time, but would like to in the future!
On the right of the picture you'll see a falls called Bridal Veils. It is beautiful and running a lot 'fuller' than typical with all the run-off from the snow they had in the mountains this year. We tried driving up to the base of the falls, but two enormous snowbanks prevented us from making it! :)
