You ever wonder where the old power-poles go? A while back a friend needed some poles to build a barn, so he called the local power company who said he could have all he wanted provided he'd come pick them up. So we did and boy are those things HEAVY!
Anyway, I was putting in a new mailbox and needed a post, so I went back to the electrical pole graveyard and took 5 feet off the top of a pole to give it a new life.
Learn new things all the time!
